Students have the opportunity to learn through the land multiple times during the year. These opportunities provide students with a chance to learn about the land around them and how their relationship with the land has an impact.
In Cree the word Wahkohtowin refers to the relationship between humans and our non-human relatives. That everything is related. We need to understand that everything that we do in our lives, reflects and affects everything around us. So this relationship that we build here in this place, it cannot just be take, take, take. We need to also remember to give back and be grateful. What can we do to make sure this relationship is strong, kind, respectful and healthy?
