**On Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 students in grades 3-9 will be receiving a presentation from a group called Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta & NWT. The group visited our school last year and because of such positive feedback, we have asked them to come back. The organization focuses on educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. A volunteer will come to each classroom for the whole morning to educate students from a ‘real world’ perspective.
Please see the program listing for each grade level below:
Grade 3 – Our Community: Needs, Jobs, and Tools
Grade 4 – Our Country: Technology and Innovation
Grade 5 – More than Money
Grade 6 – Our Business World
Grade 7 – Diversity in Action
Grade 8 – Dollars with Sense
Grade 9 – Economics for Success

***Please remember if you bring students in after O Canada in the morning, or take them out at any point in the day before the 3:10 pm bell, to sign them in or out in the office. Students are able to sign themselves in; however, it is necessary to have an adult sign them out to remove them from the school. Thanks!
Have a great weekend!
