*Dare to Care info: Bullying Ends Here
Coming back from Christmas break our school will be working hard to educate our students on bullying prevention. We have asked an organization called Dare to Care (www.daretocare.ca) to come to our school and offer their program, “Bully Proof Your School”. It will be a full day experience for our K-6 students on Wednesday, January 11. There will be assemblies and skill development workshops with role plays in smaller group settings to help the student make a difference in their lives and the lives of others here at Sturgeon Heights. There will also be a parent night the evening before this presentation. It will be on Tuesday, January 10th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. Parents are encouraged to come so we can all work together to create a safer school for our children.
ENJOY YOUR BREAK – SEE YOU BACK AT SCHOOL IN 2017!
*The best gifts can’t often be packed inside a box. How can you wrap shared laughter and tears or talks that run in to hours? They can only be wrapped and treasured inside our hearts.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
