Our Remembrance Day assembly is quickly approaching. Once again this year, I would like to put together a slideshow showing how our Sturgeon Heights families are connected to our Canadian Armed Forces. In this slideshow, I would like to include any student with a military connection - be it a parent, grandparent, great grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc. If your child would like to be a part of the slideshow please send in a photograph of your family member in military uniform (preferably 5x7 or 8x10). I will then take a picture of your child holding their photograph to be included in the slideshow - it's that easy! If your would prefer not to be in the slideshow, but you would still like to honor a military member, please send in a photograph and we’ll include it too! Please send in your photographs no later than Monday, November 5th. If your child was a part of this last year, I can use their photo from last year or take a new photo if they prefer! If you have any questions please contact me at the school @ 780-459-3990 or firstname.lastname@example.org
*Reminder to all that there is no parking on Hogan Road or in the ditch in front of the school. This is a City of St. Albert regulation. You may find a ticket on your vehicle if you park in either space as the City does a continual watch of these areas.
**Toonies for Turkeys – Thanks to those who have “bought” feathers for our turkey in support of the St. Albert Kinette’s program. Collection continues until November 15th - $2 per feather.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy these wonderful temperatures we are having!
