Immunizations are an important part of maintaining your child’s health. Your Alberta Health Services (AHS) school nurse would like to remind all parents of school-aged children to check your child’s immunization records and ensure they are up to date with all recommended immunizations. The routine recommended schedule of vaccines for Alberta can be found at http://www.health.alberta.ca/health-info/imm-routine- schedule.html.
If you are new to Alberta OR if your child has been immunized at your doctor’s office or pharmacy, AHS Public Health may not have a complete record of your child’s immunizations.
You can contact your local school nurse at 780-459-6671 (ext 3) to provide records of immunization or to book an immunization appointment.
