SHS Week May 28 to June 2
Hello Parents: We have had an incredibly busy and exciting week around Sturgeon Heights – and need I say a “very warm” week! Our track meets both ran so well and students appeared to put in their best efforts. Despite the very hot temperatures, students worked their way through all the events.
Our STEAM Games team, under the direction of Ms. Dafoe, headed out to competition yesterday and were more than excited to bring home the banner – winning the competition after competing with teams from within the entire Division!
Many thanks to our parent volunteers this week – those that ran concessions during the track meets, and those that helped with students at STEAM Games. We value your assistance and without your help, many of these events would not run as smoothly.
The latest newsletter went out a few minutes ago. Hope you enjoy all the pictures! There will be one more for this year on June 22nd.

*The Leadership Bake Sale was a big success a few weeks ago. We do still have some baking sheet pans and cupcake containers at the school. The students have been asked, but don’t seem inclined to claim them! You may be missing some – and we have them in the office. Please either stop in and pick up, or give the school a call and we will send home with your son/daughter. Thanks.
**Yearbook information went home with students today / or Monday depending on when your children attend school. Orders in by June 1st, please.
***PARTY Program is coming up soon for Grade 9 students. Please ensure permission forms have been returned to the school.
Have a wonderful weekend! We are into a new month next week!
